Steven Crowder, about his video: "Net Neutrality is a complex issue. That's why I labored over this video. Sure, after you watch it, it'll still be a complex issue, but at least you'll enjoy learning about it... and the hipsters are always good for a chuckle (provided you are not within smelling distance). As Al Franken says, 'Net Neutrality is the first amendment issue of our time.' The only disagreement that I have with him is that he then implies that only a foolish 'Tea Partying Uncle' would say '(Government) leave the internet alone!' Why that's funny, I'll never know..."

Steven adds: "No Sodium Pentathol was illegally administered during the making of this video."

Here's what Ed Morrissey of HoitAir.com said: "Steven Crowder finally delivers his long-awaited video on Net Neutrality - and it's worth the wait. Steven traveled to Austin for the annual SxSW convention to hear the arguments for government intervention in Internet bandwidth allocations, and comes away less than impressed. It's a debate drenched in technobabble, but the basic principles are clear and unmistakable. Who gets to control the operation of private networks — those who own them, or the government?"

  • I love how steven mixes comedy with truth!! Great stuff steven, keep it up :)

  • Totally biased, and frankly the guy's clueless. You want to see real Net Neutrality problems? Come visit Canada. Gamers can't play games, business people can't use certain programs, all because a company thinks these programs are p2p and so they slow delivery of packets so the programs are completely unusable.

Add to this refusal by the company's employees to escalate the problem (when its their job) and its been 8 months since the problem cropped up with no fix. We need Net Neutrality.

  • Yeah, liberals are so smart they say the earth is warming when it's actually cooling and they send each other emails to cover up the truth. That's the way it is with just about every single thing they try to do, LOL...it's a bunch of BS and so is 'net neutrality' but it 'sounds cool'! So let's do it, right? Just like "free healthcare"! bwahahaha Let's pass the bill so we can find out what's in it!

  • Four Eyed Monsters - Humanity Lobotomy... FACTUAL information on net neutrality.

  • Wow, what completely clueless analogies and distortions regarding net neutrality! Glad to see only a few people wasted 10 minutes of their lives being misinformed.

Here's actual fact from the inventors of the internet, don't believe fools like Crowder on issues he has ZERO understanding of, find out for yourself...

  • @7:03 I so much appreciate someone being able to say

"i don't know" rather than spit out jargon when they have no idea what theyre talking about!

  • Sadly, Crowder here doesn’t understand what Net Neutrality is all about either and slathers on the typical Republican rhetoric in order to confuse the issue even further. His explanations only distort. i.e. the letter and the weight being made to arrive at the same time example proves he doesn’t know what he is talking about and shows his absence of knowledge about data transmission. Bottom line, he is just silly. What is sad is that even dumber people rally behind him.

  • LoL!

    "Super hospitals"

So the state of Canadian hospitals is very much akin to the likely outcome of net neutrality as intended.
