stratman of pipware.com shows how to install MT4 and MT5 on linux. Once wine is installed with the visual C runtime (previous video), MT4 installation is quite simple.

    "winetricks vcrun6" is a real revelation - simple and works. Whereas in the past I'd go looking for the mfc* files (and now msvcp60.dll too) to copy into the system32 directory, I still found the results inconsistent! This caused stress everytime I had to reinstall mt4 after a re-installations of Ubuntu made this necessary.

    Thanks again. I'll be checking out your other videos - hopefully, learn to make some pips now too :D
