He needs tires, like me. Any of these cars, with a SC, need much more serious (drag-radials at minimum) to get some real traction. I did a best of 12.65 with almost 500 RWHP. No traction = dead run.

Is this an auto or stick? If it's an auto you need a higher stall and of course shorter gears wouldn't hurt. Unless you are running a D series Procharger your not going to see heavy boost until 3000+rpm so an auto with stock stall is going to kill a LOT of performance, especially out of the hole. Gears should be on the list but a stall is a MUST if you have a Procharger.

you need some tires like you said.. my brothers 08 gt with intake and gears runs 12.7 @ 106... what is your hp and tq numbers??

The car has run best of 12.3@118 with a 2.2 60' still in third gear. Yes, it needs gears and tires. Not bad for a though 90 degree day with very soft launches.

shouldnt you be knocking off more than just .5 sec from the n/a 1/4 mile numbers after dumping $5k in FI?...i mean, after $5k, is that all you get? shouldnt you run faster than 12.9?
