  • Jesse Morrell really reminds me the pharissee in Luke chapter 18, with his graceless legalistic gospel.

  • Because I do not preach a licence to sin, you say it is graceless? And because I preach repentance from sin, you call it legalistic? My gospel is neither graceless nor legalistic. I preach that God has grace and mercy upon every sinner that chooses to repent of their sins and believe the gospel.

  • like the way you dress dude! God Bless

  • The Bible calls upon people to first follow Him, believe Him, and then obey Him. Just like in Egypt when the people followed God out of Egypt, then after some time they believed him, and then God gave them the ten commandments.

God has come for the sick and not the perfect. It may be important to teach people about Christ and his love before you teach them about their sin. People are only being told they are wrong without knowing why in these videos. Show Gods love & compassion and then obey.

  • @Sakoyo, wuts up with you? What is wrong with his preaching? He is saying the truth.

  • @OpenAirOutreach Well you keep up the good preaching brother God Bless you :)

  • "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us"- 1st john 1:8

It's using the "have" in the present term as in now, that means it is impossible for sinless perfection, even the greatest saints of Christianity had to constantly repent of their sins and believing on to Jesus for their justification. That is not to say that we shouldn't try not to sin but it's the Holy Spirit that leads us down the path of sanctification, not our own willpower.

  • @OpenAirOutreach You're putting words in my mouth I did not say. I call it graceless and legalistic, because it presents God's salvation plan as conditional on our ability to adhere perfectly to the law of God which is impossible, instead of God's free saving grace which was given to us inspite of our sin. Sin isn't just the visible external deeds you discribing and just because you can put on an external appearance of puritanism doesn't mean that there isn't sin in your heart(1 John 1:8).
