Hello

Depends on your use: The EX-FH25 comes with a 20times optical zoom. The EX-FH100 is more compact for the pocket. Both of them have the same chip. But maybe the latest High speed models EX-ZR10 or EX-ZR100 might be also an option for you. You can find all details on the exilim homepage.

how are they getting the shots in the water? is there some sort of waterproof casing?

We used a waterproof bag from Ewamarine. Works pretty good. Stiill good to handle all functions and you get nice results. Price is around 40 €.
