When an enemy does not declare war before attacking our homeland, they have broken the rules of the Geneva convention. This man may have been a key component in the deaths of thousands of INNOCENT Americans. Why should we treat him like a petty thief and not the monster that he is. To get soldiers to fight someone who really hasn't done anything to them, they need to be brainwashed against the "enemy". Many soldiers are messed up with post traumatic syndrome, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if that idiot murderer nadel hasan was a brainwashed case. Armed force leaders, brainwash and drug the hell out of their troops. They have to, or else if the troops are thinking normally and rationally, it would be harder to fight or torture someone if you think they are human.

"experiments" were on American citizens. Now, given (many, not all) the Americans disdain for non whites, & middle easterners (or diaper heads or haggis as many in the Armed Forces call them), do you actually believe that the Armed Forces are going to show respect or at least ignore the Iraqis? Hell no! Our army needs to show whose dick is bigger & mess with the Iraqis, etc. It's like the 6th grade bully mentality.

I don't think people should be surprised that the US Armed Forces (or some members) tortured, killed etc suspects (that turned out to be innocent in many cases.)

Really, since the 1960s, the Army, CIA, etc has been "experimenting" by giving prisoners, unsuspecting patients in psychiatric hospitals and other civilians some LSD and G-d knows what else. It was done in the name of "research".

I was least surprised when the abu graib pictures came out.

The governments of Dafur, Sudan, Syria and a host of others, I just don't care. America cannot continue to be the Worlds policeman any longer. If the people don't like their government then revolt. After all Americans revolt just look at the civil rights fight. America need to take care of Americans first. I feel sorry for any starving child but American's need to be fed first.
