What was 9/11 if not torture of innocent civilians? Do you think our military personal are not subjected to far worse than this when captured in Iraq? What about all our veterans who have been tortured in Vietnam, Korea, WW1 and WW11? Get real ugly things happen in wars and even in drug cartels and often to the innocent who should be our main concern.

No this technically wasn't illegal. The Geneva Convention states torture can not be conducted on military personnel. Al Queda and the Taliban are NOT military. I agree that it is useless, because people will just tell you what you want to hear under enough torture, but it wasn't TECHNICALLY illegal to use torture.

Enhanced interrogation is completely necessary. Without it, we wouldn't be able to get any information on terror organization. You don't get information by asking nicely. Maybe if people in this country would stop being candy asses and start realizing necessity over unimportant protest.

He was basically the mastermind behind it, along with his CIA friends.
They even freed one of the Saudis who took flight lessons in the US, after he has been arrested by the police and surpressed all info on the hijackers.
Also he sat with Bush, Rice and the Saudi official prince Bandar after 911 and celebrated their success.
And as chairman of Haliburton, he profitted greatly from these wars.

Wish this thing called dick cheney gets locked up in a psychiatric ward for the rest of its life, in the deepest basement, for psychiatrist to study. This way, perhaps modern medicine will finally understand pure evil.
