The lion's mane jelly is a pelagic species is found from Mexico to Alaska. It eats plankton caught in the mesh of trailing tentacles which are drawn up to the mouth under the bell. Jellyfish are eaten by sea turtles. The video shows how the animal moves in water.

  • omg the longest record for this was 120 feet. holy shit. thats the longest animal ever. bigger than the blue whale!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woahhhhhh i was reading this article and i almost fell out of my chair! and its like 8 feet diameter. i would have a heart attack!!
