I know alot of people think wild animals are cute and I agree, most of the time...but a chimp?? really a chimp. Nothing cute about a chimp...a tigers cute but still NEVER keep a wild animal. It usually ends with death.

@cumminsferlife We have inhibiters in our arms that limit how effectively we use are muscles, we can do things with great strength and force and we can do it as delicately as we want because we have more grey matter then chimps so have more control over muscles. For chimps its a all or nothing kinda thing as they use most of their muscles in a action and why the go tree to tree hanging climbing effortlessly as it would appear on tv, but most of the time they are using all the muscle at once.

@cumminsferlife I don't know exactly how they get so strong, but I know this: for chimps, take their weight and multiply it with 8, and imagine a fit male human weighting as much(obviously the weight would be in muscles and not in fat, since we are considering a fit human), that is how strong they are. Can you imagine that? It would be some kind of beast that would dwarf Bob Sapp and Mike Tyson if they were standing on each others shoulders! Bottom line: stay away from apes.

Someone explain to me how chimps are so strong. If chimps are just like us their muscles tear and are rebuilt just like our muscles. Don't see how they get so strong?

@iRunThisZone, A full grown Chimp at 200lbs has 4 times the upper body strength of the strongest man, you would have been nothing but a meal for him. The difference would be like a 40lbs boy fighting a man from the world's strongest man competition......no chance of winning unless he as a gun.
