I love this debate..I agree with Ms.Pierre..Obamas appearance on Jay Leno wasnt uncharacterstic..Obama shouldnt only have to be on CNN or MSNBC..Appearing on Jay Leno is his way of targetting a different type of audience..and putting everything on the forefront in every area of the media
I understand what Russell is saying about where ever Obama appears people will follow, but a successful man always treats his situation as though he is not successful. Always working at making sure he stays on path. You may think that people will follow, but Obama's approach is not to assume that, but to treat it as though you need to continue to reach out by whatever means necessary.
Obama on his Tournament Picks: What's the big deal. He is a man who loves basketball, and he is making his pick as are hundreds of thousands of Americans are doing. For others to say he should be concentrating on the economy is ignorant. What do people think he's doing all this time? He takes a little break from the day-to-day business, and all of a sudden he's negligent. People need to let this man do his job, but at the same time be a man outside of the Presidency as well.
Obama On Leno: Stop putting President's and politicians in a box and feel they have make only traditional appearances. Times have changed, and we elected a President on that premise - CHANGE. He was successful in his "untraditional" way of campaigning, and is being consistent with the way he contiues to do business while he is President. Being on Leno allows him to reach the masses outside the political areana, and also give him a more humanistic quality not always associated with politicians.

I love to see people who disagree, have a spirited debate, and at the end, everything is cool. Good job. Good job.
