  • The Cosby Show was a good show in my opinion. Even if folks say it wasn't a real life image of everyday black people, you still have to appreciate the positive images that show brought forth.

  • this is just embarrassing. why would you put yourself on youtube sounding ignorant and silly. this is worse than some ghetto the view.

  • I think we should show the positive side so we can dream of something better and in result the kids will be better. We know its bad in the hood already. Why can't there be a Cosby type couple? The dude around 4:50 got it right

  • both got points but u got to remember the time period the cosby was stared compared to tyler perry

  • The reason why the Cosby Show was fashioned to be the way it was, is due to Cosby's understand that the African-American community needed positive examples on a consistent basis. The family portrayed this primarily through the CHILDREN, not through Cliff and Clare. If they showed Cliff or Clare having an affair, then the impact of the images being portrayed and being considered typical. Cosby realized this from the beginning and he executed with brilliance.

  • bill cosby didn't need to share his personal life for a show that wasn't real. are you serious? and all black kids don't need a boys in the hood because the all aren't in the hood. leave tv for lala-land and get back to raising your kids and stop letting tv dictate to your kids and raising them for you! get out and teach them what you want them to know.

  • Okay Tyler, these brothers have given you your next script. All I understood was Bill Cosby. Great idea brothers just have the intelligence and courtesy to listen to one another. Like maybe a stop clock? Talk for 30 seconds "RING" and den SHUT DA F**K UP!

  • y is it that niggas feel we hating when we are debating a subject matter! some of the comments were wack as hell infinito but it is what it is we all got opinions like ass holes

  • stop fucking hate n he paid yall broke shit

  • damn your so right

  • I loved the debate.Growing up in the ghetto, costantly surrounded by voilence and drugs, the cosby's was my oulte. They gave me hope and inspiration. They were a role model for me to immulate.I didn't need anymore reminders of my reality. The cosby even though fiction showed that we as blk people could live decient. We could be educated ,have a respectable and loving relationship and family.
