The fact that the ship remained so long in the bay at St Nazaire for so many hours has never been explained. Indeed there is no rational explanation.
At the other end of the war a similar fate befell the German soldiers and refugees packed on to the Wilhelm Gustloff. Different peoples and yet the same fate and still internationalist bastards at the top go on with their wars and sacrifices- it must end.
