You want close? My JRT got grabbed by a coyote 40 feet away from me cleaning my kennel full of six dogs one night. I heard her scream and saw her dancing around the coyote. It saw me and bolted into the woods. She needed stitches to close torn flesh on top of her butt and a small puncture beside her vent. that coyote in video is the worst kind, it's comfortable around people and houses.

we have a cabin in central FL(Ocala)right on the boarder of the national forest. our
Am. Bulldog(he's 115lbs) has killed two coyotes on our property. he also killed a 40lb
bobcat(the bobcat actually scratched him up alot worse than anything either coyote did) but he bit into that cat so hard he broke ribs-OUCH !! in areas of known predators it's good to have a dog that can take care of you and itself.
