Argentine tango

@millasmama In English we call it "The Drop", Sandor started doing it in 1985 in Buenos Aires. He was inspired by a move he saw in the musical movie "Xanadu", but in the movie they do it from the shoulder level dropping down to just above the floor. Sandor took it higher to above the head & dropping all the way down to the floor to make it a little more dramatic.

Exceptional artistry! My husband & I have had the pleasure of taking some Argentine tango lessons from Sandor & Parissa, they do it all, from the sublime social improvisational tango salon, to the magnificent stage tango seen in this video, & even other dance styles, they are phenomenal. Sandor has been a prominent figure of Argentine tango since the late 1980's, he is a true master & highly credited artist, as is exquisite Parissa. Bravo DWTS for showcasing this extraordinary couple!
