Same with O'Brien, they were both a bit too "real" to get much of the spotlight on the much more sanitized, often militantly inoffensive TNG. Next Generation characters were comparatively one dimensional do-gooders, or villains for villainy's sake.

Hysterical. Good ol' Worf.

@KarlSamson44 Worf had alot of great storylines in TNG, sure ds9 gave us his relationship with a white chick, awesome.
-
@AceEuphrates Are you out of your mind? DS9 Worf is funnier Worf but TNG Worf is the man.
-
@Uridien I understand your point but Worf on DS9 as a loose cannon was needed, it was like the Wild West Saloon town in space. Very Different from life on a Federation Starship.

I like how Worf was portrayed in DS9. His suggestions were always shot down by Picard in early TNG, then the writers made him more or less a joke in the later seasons. BUT, what I dislike about Worf in DS9, was how he was a bit of a loose canon. Sisko never really put him in his place, except the time Worf tried to kill Kurn in that ceremony. Picard never stood for any Klingon crap. Always putting Worf in his place. Had this conversation taken place with Picard, Worf would've known his place.

Its so Fluid so Serious Sisko assumes wrong and you know it

Worf got so much more bad ass when he came to DS9.

@AceEuphrates TNG Worf at least attempted to raise his son, had a social life with the rest of the crew, was relatively well adjusted with his Klingon heritage and was professionally competent, DS9 Worf was a deadbeat dad, isolated himself to the point of antisocial, couldnt get his Klingon shit in order, failed and/or surrendered every second mission he went on and spent the whole last season whining about Dax and being a prick to Bashir, Quark and the new Dax. I thought he was a bit shit :P

This video made my day. XD
This is why DS9 Worf > TNG Worf.
