Deep EZ Sand Eel - BuzFly Saltwater Fly Stripped Bass Weakfish Snook Redfish

The Deep EZ Sand Eel is a fly that I have been tying for about 15 years. I just updated it to use Light Cured Acrylics in place of Epoxy. The fly can be fished from the surf or off a boat. I target Stripped Bass, Weakfish, Snook and Redfish with this fly, but I know it can be used for many others. The barbell eyes and acrylic head gets the fly down quick and the shape of the body lets it bounce off most obstructions it hits. You can add a weed guard to make it easier to fish in heavy cover. To control the belly in the fly just adjust the amount of EZ Body use. You can also attach a rattle to hang off the tail or put it in the hook shank before you fold the EZ Body over. The colors are up to you as is the size and hook you use. Don't be afraid to use a strip of rabbit CA glued to the top of the fly and extending it the full length of the tail.
