This is basically British politics, Labour(Gorilla)... then Conservatives(Leopard)... then Labour etc... blah, Now UKIP(Tiger) come in as they are fed up with the system and feel they represent most voters, however they are close to the Conservatives in the poltical spectrum and take alot of their voters which Labour are happy with, I'm a UKIP supporter and my most hatred party is Labour.... if UKIP don't win the general election this country is ruined.

In India only if a party has 2/3 majority can it form a new government otherwise coalition governments are formed. This system has its own flaws however. The two party system actually makes governance simpler by removing variability and ensuring stability at the cost of a true democracy.

False, quite the contrary to your belief. Several states have (through political contracts with the government, such as California) WTA (FPTP) has been implemented by certain states and is of course implemented for the Electoral College and state voting polls. Literally, our national elections for both president and representatives have died down to an illogical two party system, with ineffective third parties, which in the end is only different because of our implementation of the EC.

Each state uses FPTP, and the electoral college itself uses FPTP. This is not an opinion.

No, votes go towards deciding where the votes of the state go in the actual election, and different states have different amounts of votes proportional to their population.
