I've browsed the site and heard a dozen different performances by non-professionals. This is the only one worth listening to.
It's immensely frustrating. Why do the other pianists even bother posting their videos? They only get bragging rights for playing Liszt when they can play it competently. Anyone can do a half-assed job.

@LatifLadid Your execution of the octaves in between versions of the main theme remind me of the way he executes them, only slower, not that slower's a bad thing at all.

@demosj yeah, playing liszt somewhat half-assy seriously is something pretty mucheveryone out there can do, just like that. it`s like walking or talking. I only listen to professional records, but since I´m immensely bored I from time to time also watch "bad" records of great music just to annoy other people with my comments later on. other people just decide not to watch what they don´t like, but what do I care? I´m so much smarter than anyone out there, I`m a sucky player but an awesome jerk.

For real, I play changing the fingers and so does my teacher. I just keep seeing youtube comments by people who play chopsticks calls other weak for not playing 24 the whole time.
sehr gut!

Look Berezovsky's version ^^ (technically and musically better).

I'm honoured to be compared with a great pianist like Boris Berezovsky! :-)
