  • This prompts a related question I have. I have a big box full of 38SPL cases that I inherited from my dad. It's at least 50 years old, maybe 70 years old. Is there any way to tell if it is still safe to reload?

  • @MrKdh1949

Better safe than sorry - Both Tom and Ryan agree, don't reload 50-yr-old ammo.

  • For thos who are worried about old ammo: Send all ammo that is more than 30 days old to me. I'll dispose of it for you.
