Iran is a democracy. As for North Korea, that's a pretty extreme example. I think people who have a dislike for democracy might think of Chile under Pinochet as a decent example. Sure, if you were a communist, you were oppressed, but honestly they could move to Bolivia or Venezuela since they speak the same language and have basically identical cultures under different political systems.

@AmueFw If your thoughts are different than thoughts of the society you live in, then you are not one of them. Go find your own people, you won't need democracy within your kind.

I want a democracy were I can say what I believe and think, even if it would be wrong, but not what TV, promotion and politicians tell me what I have to say (and, if they only could, what I had to THINK: hybris!).
