I guess it's a bit slow but still amazing song, that's Daniel Purcell by the way.

who heard the little mistake by the harpsichordist at 2:24

@crysis1234567 Definitely polyphonic - heterophonic textures are rarely encountered in Western classical music that was composed before the 20th Century.
-
would u call this polyphonic or heterophonic?
-
Yes, Eellenz, I listened to it again, and it's simply two counter-tenors. Sometimes counter-tenors are irritating. This Japanese counter-tenor, Mera, even looks like a child and follows a childly sound-ideal in many ways, it seems, or ......... and ageless ideal, as if he wanted to be a kind of angel, On the other hand it is amazing what real, worldly children can do as long as they are young enaugh, think of Mozart. Certain children are perfectly wise and mature and do sound like it..

@whistle197 they're not children. Kampen Boys choir has countertenors too. Nice ear anyway! Respect!

What kind of choir is this? Something like the 'Wiener Sängerknaben' or 'King's College'?

Yep, a choir like 'King's College' or 'St. Johns' for instance.

So the singers are children? From the sound I find it hard to decide if this is children or countertenors?

In such a choir there are boy sopranos, countertenors, tenors and basses. And this are 2 countertenors.
