  • The Karzai regime is holding the people of Afghanistan, the international community - both civil and military - to ransom. He is spineless lizard who holds the people of that land in contempt, who has contantly insulted the people with his leech tactics, and stealilng the elections. He is now trying to make out that anyone who questions his legitimacy, is against the people of the country - how cynical and cheap is that and how dastardly ?

  • For Karzai to complain about external criticism over the grossly unacceptable degree of election corruption, is breathtaking in its hypocrisy, given that Karzai was in the vanguard of that corruption. Whilst it is true that western elections are not entirely without corruption, it would be utterly cynical for the west to undermine the confidence of its electorate, in order to play its electorate for fools, so as to support another term of office for Karzai. $300-million, already! And for what?

  • I was just going to remark that.

Why are we focused on Afghan election fraud when we should first look at ourselves?
