  • Anything on the phone will be deleted... Anything on the sd card will be ok. Just be sure to put anything you want to keep onto the sd card.

  • Yes they would be deleted.. If the music is installed on the sd card then it would be ok.

  • Good tip, I have had that crapware since I updated from 6.0 with a generously provided oem rom some kind soul on XDA had. I acquired my 8925 on ebay and found the 6.1 update was made to dissapear after a very short time. The main thing on my wish list is to find an app that actually works the camera. The HTC camera stinks. My previous 8525 camera video capture was light years ahead. But, that is all obsolete now. Guess I should look for dual core 720p phones.

  • @Dcstl2

    No.

  • excellent posting. worked well. jus be sure to remove the battery as soon as u tap the screen

  • Thanks! ICS and just OS is exactly what I wanted.

  • open the phone and reconnect the wires. There might be a wire disconnected.

  • It dont work, it just keeps clearing storage at start up. Do i have to take sim card out or something?

  • hey Just BLaze I had that problem too with my 8525 when I use to have it. THE PROBLEM IS, that you have a disconnected wire inside of the phone. If you opening it "carefully" You will see that a wire might be Unplugged inside of the phone. Just Reconnect it or tape it together this time. And U should have sound back. U probably dropped it.

  • Can you use any network

  • do u kno how to fix a no sound on 8525
