I was depressed for about 5 months, thought I was better for 5 months, and now I feel depressed again. Not sure if it's chronic or what. I'm 17 also.

i dont know if i have Chronic depression but im sure i do ive been feeling this way for 8 years and i cant live like this anymore in 19 years old i need help but noone will help me im thinking about calling the cops and threaten to kill myself so someone will notice me :/

Thank you for posting these videos. I have been depressed for many years, it is impairing a lot of aspects in my life as described in the video. I cried at the end, because this is really the story of my life. My family thinks its stupid to get treatment and some of my friends are mad at me for isolating myself. For people who are suffering, you are not alone. And hopefully after listening to Dr Hellerstein, you will be more encouraged to seek treatment as well.
