@dupsacque Any breed of dog can do this sport, mixed or pure. It just requires training and a motivated dog. They don't have to be Border Collies. They don't even have to be that fast. Flyball has different speed levels so that the really serious and super fast teams compete against each other and the slower, relaxed, "for fun" teams also compete against each other. It's supposed to be fun, so they don't make it terribly unfair. Also, any breed can be a "family dog" too.

just for this, I'd easily trade my pure-bred family dog for a bc ^^

What a great display of the dogs' athletic ability! The border collies really do seem like they were born for this sport. I'm hoping to get my pup into it some time this summer :D

@locke932 Do you have any proof of your claims? You're full of crap- dogs love this sport, and it makes them happy to have a 'job' to do.

What song is this?

What do they do when they retrieve the ball and are running back? Do they deposit it into something or just drop it?
skpower92 1 year ago
@skpower92 they just drop the ball when they get back and usually grab a tug

What do the dog do with the ball after he takes it? Give it to the owner and goes again?
JeIIona 3 years ago
No, they come back and usually tug or get a treat then another dog goes.
