One can make simple or complex animations with Synfig Studio. Have you made a simple animation using Synfig? Please consider posting it on youtube. You don't have to be a top animator to post something. Even if it doesn't look great please consider putting it up. Animation art can also be about having fun and sharing the results, imperfect as they may seem.
Testing a synfig animation using 853x480 sized frames to see how it appears after youtube processes it. Added a little Audio Swap track.

You may want to lower the horizontal position of the wheel when it's between 2 feet, to get wave-like move that matches on the interval between the feet.

@berteh2be I suppose 'funny' is one way to refer to the animation, although it wasn't meant to be funny, just a simple experiment. Good observation though regarding the wheel motion when in between feet. I don't know if or when I will return to this animation project, but if nothing else, your comment suggestion may help me in a future test project. Thanks for commenting.
