What is the brand of bike he rode in the 84 Olympics? Was it a Pinarello with the faded yellow-blue-red&white paint scheme? Or was it just painted to look like a Pinarello and really made by someone else like Lemonds bikes always were?

left out the part about the blood doping

Saw him do a lot of cool stuff on the bike. One of the best was at the Blue Ash Dash in Cincinnati in 1988. He towed one of his Crest teammates across a huge gap to the breakaway in the final laps like a rocket. (This was at the old train station course.) We were all stunned at how fast he did it.

Alexi Grewal ! There goes my Hero, watch him as he falls !! Hey he was a wild man ! But he was GOOD for the Sport !

I love Alexi's honesty and transparency in this video. I'm not sure how things are currently with him but I'll always remember that race in Mission Viejo in 1984. I was there and it changed my life. Right afterwards my dad gave me money to buy a car ( I was 16) and I bought a racing bike instead. Thanks for posting the video.

Thanks for the memories. I dug this dude because he did not put up with the politics of this sport. His wins at the coors classic, the national championships, and then the olympics are fond memories of my youth when I raced as a junior during the late 70's to the '80's. But dummy me went and joined the navy and now I'm lucky to walk.

well then you probably should use the Google and find out who he is... that's what it's there for

If you aren't someone who follows cycling you'll have no idea what this video is about. "I'm different now"? what the heck?????????????
Alexi Singh Grewal... My hero.
A great person and a great American.
About the doping, in the 70s and 80s i think it was de rigour; everyone did it. It doesn't justify it but at least he is honest.
