  • no im sorry i meant like if i were to fly to london and buy a mineral wagon straight out of the factory.. what couplings would they come with? are they called rapido? if so i have a steam engine with these which is very good :D

  • hi, yes, they are called rapido and yes most in uk and europe are with these rapido couplings, hope you ok now, regards Ray

  • oo ok i see so basically a conversion car,, and anyways are they just rapido couplers or are they something else. and can i just buy a whole new truck (wheels and all) and get a knuckle coupler. sorry for so many questions im kinda still a beginner :))) thanks

  • no problem we all have to learn even if old, young, experienced or newbie. I have got all my stuff from ebay, n gauge, oo gauge, on30 gauge and got them by doing searches, for n gauge, fleischman, fleischman n gauge, lifelike, arnold. Basically you only need one truck that you modify so connects to loco and other end remain as brought, hope this helps, regards Ray.

  • ooh i see so only one car to convert and only convert one truck of it and the rest of the cars can remain standard euro couplings :D i get it and so what r the couplers called? r they rapido's? if so i dont need to convert i still have one engine with rapido couplers

  • rapido coupling is common so you are ok if you have loco with those. kadee knuckle are not so popular, check ebay out
