i would say that overall the dare is the best compared to htc touch diamonds and pro telus lg dare! rulez!

the ev 1x means 3g it is called ev-do rev. a if the verizon phone says 1x it means it is not 3g hope i helped yes the dare is 3g capable

Although the browser is built into the phone, it uses minutes unless you have either the connect or premium plan from Verizon.
