Here is a clip from the curtain calls for the December 22, 2007 performance of Gluck's opera Iphigenie en Tauride from NYC. Placido Domingo (Oreste) appears first in the clip, followed by Susan Graham (Iphigenie), and conductor Louis Langree. Also seen are William Shimell (Thoas), Paul Groves (Pylade), and Michele Losier (Diane).
(For those interested, the clips that I've put up on YouTube are unfortunately all that I have of this opera. I do not have a recording of the complete performance. Sorry.)
So happy that this will be in HD next season!!!

Graham's rendition of "Malheurese" aria was one of the most beautiful interepretations I ever heard at the Met.

This is very cool. I was at the radio broadcast Saturday matinee a few weeks earlier and Susan Graham was unbelievably great.
