great knowledge of music. met him in Camden many years ago. great guy with a good sense of humour. we requested a burst of love and pride but never got it.

oh yes classic video presenter era - Ray Cokes and Paul King were simply wonderful. i hope they're both doing great. so loved they can feel proud;)

Don't ask me why, but I had a dream that Paul King was fussing with his hair and was irritable because he was having a bad hair day (mullet era). He's actually the only person I know who ever made a mullet look good. Dreamy man, but I don't know how on earth he creeped into my dreams since I haven't thought about Paul King or the band King for a looooong time. Weird.

That was the time when MTV was a really cool. Paul King was fantastic. Greatest Hits...I used to watch this every day...waiting for MJ videos. Funny that he'd just introduced "Thriller" here.
