When I first saw Debbie she walked out early onto the stage at Tipitina's in New Orleans. She picked up a guitar and put it on a stand or something like that. This was the late 80s and it was an Albert Collins concert. "How unique," I thought. "A female roadie." Collins was great, but the "roadie" blew me away. She could take her guitar on a ride to the moon and land in precisely the right place. She told me later it was just luck. I don't think so.
very credible and studied electric blues performance...but this genre is filled to overflowing with god like talent both living and dead, and she has to contend with the susan tedeshi's and bonnie raitts to stake her claim as a blues-woman...may-be a big mama thornton number or a country blues a la mary flower. gotta appreciate this woman's dedication to the greatest american art form given to the rest of the world.
It is a good thing you got your own band otherwise
all of the other guitar hogs would keep you pinned down.
