You mean they didn't lift the Drilling Moratorium?

You might want to educate yourself as to the facts of what the Export Import Bank does.

So you feel that the US Government should just willy nilly issue permits without making sure that the drilling will be safe after what we went through last year? Yes they have provided permits but only after the process has been deemed safe. And they will continue to issue permits when the Companies comply if that is OK with you.

@smartwerker Unfortunately it does show exactly how government can stop drilling in our country and kill 30,000 jobs while creating jobs for the very same purpose in another country. Sounds like government intrusion doesn't it?  Basically, gov is saying we can't drill in the Gulf of Mexico we are shutting US companies down and we are going to give Brazil 10 billion dollars to drill in the same place we told those companies they could not.

Laws should only be established to harmonize without application to a single demographic, and prevent the juxtaposition of each citizens posterity to one another as a basis to govern by law.

Those who dismiss this under any pretense are changing the republic as it was interpreted in its beginnings and are in fact modifying their government which is stated as the intrinsic right of the people by the Declaration of Independence. The only rational solution to preventing such change is civil war, if a compromise can not be reached by the people.

The Medical professional in my family are not doctors. My apologies if you misunderstood. In my family there are five registered nurses (aunts and cousins) and one patient services representative (my mother.)
