GREAT NEWS fans of The Glands!! I just saw them play at Yo La Tengo's Hanukkah Fest 2011 at Maxwell's & spoke to them afterwards. Their opening set was incredible & they are back together & will have stuff up on the web soon...hopefully we'll be hearing a new album, & seeing live shows sooner than later!!! Thanks to Yo La Tengo who are huge fans & boosters of the band for turning me onto them!

they are playing august 1 for the grand re-opening of the georgia theatre in athens

I was recently talking to the leader's best friend (a few months ago...) he was mum when I mentioned a new album. Happy to hear they're playing out. I used to work with the drummer and lead singer.

Dude - they have two albums! In the vid you say "their cd" but there's the self-titled second disc and the awesome first album, "Double Thriller."
