Howard Phillips, host of Conservative Roundtable, discusses immigration policies with Dr. Alan Keyes. Dr. Keyes explains the history of immigration "reform," and shows how modern immigration reform caters not only to immigrant's sense of entitlement, but also to special interest groups, regardless of extremist or unconstitutional demands. He discusses the Constitutional duty of President Bush to defend our borders. This edition of Conservative Roundtable is from 2006. Keyes is running for president in 2008.

  • Alan Keyes should be responsible for crafting the Conservative Republican platform for the next election (with Newt Gingrich of course). Alan Keyes has a knack for clarifying the moral issues at stake in every debate. When presented this way, the Republicans couldn't lose the issue in debate or in a vote on the floor of Congress. Why is this man not in office?

  • Alan Keyes 2008!!!!

  • I want to emmigrate from Norway to the U.S. so badly. We got over 45% of our population on welfare, and overtax everyone who works in our country. The state decides where you can work through gender equality legislation. The import tax on cars is so high that most working class Norwegians drive 20-25 year old cars. Norway is paradise for labor party officials and government corporate millionaires.

  • @brittabaker I voted for Keyes in the Washington state primary. I thougt he was the best Conservative on the ballot, not because he is black. Liberals have called him "Uncle Tom". No one called Barackacy NoBama called him that.

  • Because the media refuses to give him the publicity needed to be a viable electable candidate and because of the corrupt among both Parties. But if "we" help, we can break that stronghold...

  • He says in the interview that they are at the end of Bush's sixth year. So late 2006.

  • I cant agree with this more.

  • Based on reference to the Senate bill, I think that it was last summer.

  • can you put into the description when this interview happened?
