wait if you have a auto you shift all the way down and move up untill you get to d in that car that the last gear auto because its a 3 spd i had the same one

btw im not that great with electronics and have watched all your videos and have really taken an interest in electric cars and conversions and i think your videos are great.I was just thinking in terms of getting the most out of your battery life. and didnt know if permanent magnetic motors would over charge the battery pack or if it might actually give you a boost in speed?if you or someone else could explain it i will be looking for the response..thanks and take care and good luck

the space between the spacers couldn't you have mounted a pulley on the shaft and ran a belt to a permanent magnetic motor near the front of the grill where there was space? i was thinking in terms of recapturing wasted energy this way so you could recharge your batteries while you were in transit

How much have you spent on parts so far? I need to get a car and I don't plan on any long trips so that would be an awesome project.

$3500.00 the car did real good but i wanted a larger vehicle. going with an 8" motor will provide more speed but the 6" motor does allright.

at 54 volts we got 40 mph. it will get to 30-35 pretty quick and you just creep up to 40. the car is no speed demon but i drove all over town. i left my town and hit a large brige. at the light at the base of the brige from a stand still i crossed the bridge nonstop. not fast enough to stay in traffic. i pulled to the emergancy side and drove over the bridge. after crossing i drove to my brothers house a 15 mile trip and i used about 1/4 of the charge from the battery pack.

I have rebuilt Chevy 350's and drop em in. But the one thing I still cant figure out is what is made for the throttle? How is made and how does it function?

its like a dimmer switch. go to battery power systems and you will find every thing you need to build a car
