@mallcraze it does NOT grow thicker and darker if you shave. But it grows back faster than it would if you wouldn't wax it.

Usually depending on the wax used, it will either be hot (not burning) or warmed (to body temperature). Waxes that need to be stripped off with strips of muslin or wax paper needs to be at a higher temperature than hard or sugar waxes.
