  • Sorry that a piece of garbage was visible here for 7 hours, I just got up. Violent racist hatred deleted, user banned.

  • What a beautiful pair of humans. Elie Weisel and the Dalai Lama. If it weren't for Bush being there it would be perfect.

  • I'm quite certain that neither Elie Wiesel nor His Holiness would agree with you. You should watch the President's section in the series. Those words meant a lot to the Tibetans, including those living under occupation. News gets around. Many Tibetans later saw this event via illegal vdo's, and some went to jail for that.

You may not like Bush, but you should still listen to what he said. Honourable words that HHDL and his people appreciated (and which of course made the PRC blind angry).

  • Sad his holyness would accept the prise of worst american president W.G.Bush, an killer under the clothe of Demorcracy- a loughing stock in the world. Sad to say his Holiness would like to be uesed by those once bullied, killed in old China and made huge fortune in today China. I do hope that Dalai will go Back to teach the young Banzan lama, give the government good advice on how governing Tibet better to wonder around to giving lessons to those fake buddhists in the west, China need U more!

  • The award was given by unanimous vote by the entire US Congress (all parties), President Bush was there to show his own support for their decision.

If you want Dalai Lama to go back to Tibet, convince the communist government to allow him back.

  • Mr Wiesel is an amazing human being.... not many know that he is a Transylvanian born Hungarian. He deserved the Nobel prize !

  • @LamaJoMaMa He does what he can. So do I.

  • I wonder if the holocaust entertainer elctured the DL about the war ?

  • What a beautiful speech...

  • Elie Wiesel has never condemned crimes committed by George Bush, never condemned the Israeli bombing of Beirut in 1982, the recent bombing of Lebanon that displaced 500,0000 people, never condemned the recent Israeli slaughter of Gazans. There's no reason he shouldn't feel quite comfortable with Bush.

  • Great video, did you see when

Elie accidently forgot to shake Pelosi's hand lol he jumped in surprise when he realized he forgot
