Good point here, I think one of the biggest barriers to acceptance is the misguided idea that many have which equates acceptance with approval... Well if I say those men can marry eachother then I am saying that I think its ok, I am giving up my right to believe its wrong... They aren't, no one really needs or wants the approval of some closeminded person, they can think whatever they like, just deal with the fact that regardless of ones opinion everyone deserves equal rights.

Well said! Right on! Thank you for this clear elucidation of what acceptance and tolerance mean. None of us has to like each other. But don't stand in the way of my job, my relationship with my partner, or my ability to enjoy the same rights, privileges, and responsibilities of any straight person.

It looks like yt ate my comment up. The only sexuality that I worry about is pedophilia and bestiality. I think they are both rape. That's why I put the adult caveat in my previous statement.

I don't give a flying fig about gay. No age restrictions. Should a 35 year old have sex with a 9 year old. NO!! But I mean hetro or homo sex.

Those two do not equate. One is a legal issue, the other is a value judgment.

It could simply be that you are not saying what you intended to say.

I would say that people have the right to believe in God. I think that they are deluded in that belief.

I can easily hold both of these views simultaneously, without any philosophical tension.

You can get all three from me any day of the week, but I'm hesitant about any sex.

You see the hair treatment you recommended doesn't seem to be working very well.

I have been conducting trials for 1 year, and two weeks ago I went to Germany and collected 192 pints of Guinness. If I at least do not have more hair than you when they are gone, I'm deeming the treatment bogus.

(Which by no means implys that I will not uphold my Guinnes intake, but any mentioning of sex is right out the window)
