How on? A lot of countries run based on "god given rights." What made America unique for the time was that it was a secular country.
I hate to break it to Santorum, but the Declaration of Independence is not a legal document. It's a... well, a declaration of independence. Who knew?
The constitution is great because it applies to all peoples, not just American people. Too bad Republicans don't give the same rights to accused terrorists without giving them a trail to find out if they really are.
