Ever since I heard Janis Ian on the radio back in the mid 70'es I have loved her music and melancoly and wise lyrics. She is a truly wonderful lady and amazing artist.

Yes, heyboobooshoo, I too was thinking how could I have been unaware of this beautiful song. Today is my first hearing of it, and justdar, I thank you for sharing it, and also her website!! I've just visited it as well, and I see she's on tour near my city in July. I was able to see her live some years back and it was a perfect show! Thanks, again. Peace & light, your way...

I began listening to Janis when I was 16 years old and I'm now 49 and I never heard this song until now. It brought me to tears. It is such a touching song that immediately tugged at my heart and soul. Thank you, Janis for being the incredible artist that you are!

It's actually a pretty recent song, so if you haven't heard this one there may be others you're missing! Check out her website! She's still alive and very well and touring. Plus she has an autobiography coming out this summer!!!
