  • this is actually retarded.

  • Is this why the series was named Big Train??

  • British humor really is the best. Shows like the Office, Blackadder, Only Fools and Horses etc would only be shown and understood in Britain. Even subtle humor in shows like Sherlock is brilliant.

  • PPS the full sketch with ending IS on You Tube elsewhere - Hurrah!

  • PS the other "Big Train" sketch show clips on You Tube are worth searching out - pity there aren't more but you can get the 2 series DVDs from the BBC

  • Yes indeed - HS2 and all that stupid destructive big-dick nonsense. Pity the clip is chopped off before the very funny ending which puts the Minister's inability to grasp spatial concepts onto a new level. Pedantic I know, but the humour is Irish not British - writer Arthur Matthews and director Graham Linehan (of Father Ted fame) are from the Emerald Isle. Not sure about the Anglo-Saxons but we British Celts find it VERY funny.

  • Little Britain is the best though ;)

  • @lsynno I agree with Blackadder, Father Ted and Peep Show. Also take a look at 15 Storeys High, The Office (British obviously) , Extras, League of Gentlemen, Spaced, Phoenix Nights, Fawlty Towers and no doubt many more that I've missed out!

  • @utrapzab Im English... Also, a 'hasty generalisation' (didnt notice the English spelling, huh?) is a logical fallacy, so its not specifically related to a 'grasp of english language' but rather a study of statistics. If you had read the three short paragraphs on wikipedia, you may have noticed how they are often the basis of stereotype and prejudice. I dont care about grammar and spelling on youtube, but before you accuse me of faulty english, you might wish to compare our comments.
