It's almost as if the stadium itself was doing "the wave"

I went to my first baseball game ever there in 1988. This is the first tine I've seen the implosion. This place was truly my childhood. Waiting for Dad to get off work so we could head out to the games, putting on my Dale Murphy(and later my Greg Olson) jersey and Braves ball cap. It was the truest form of perfection for me. They didn't tear it down because they built Turner Field, they built Turner Field so they could retire the well worn and unstable foundation. I was there for the Olympics.

@pris72 I saw Tony Cloniger and Eddie Matthews there. I can't say I miss it. It stank and all the seats were bad. I saw Gale Sayers there in 1967. We sat in the upper deck end zone and the players were so far away you could barely read their numbers. Turner Field is a vast improvement.

I miss that place. It's a part of my childhood, going to watch Dale Murphy play.
