  • Big fan of the 120Y and previous trx man... I got CA18 goin into a TD gemmi, won't be nearly as mental as yours to start with, but either way kudos to you for stickin it to them.

An admirable build without a doubt.... cannot deny that CA18DETs power!!

  • Cheers for the kind words mate! For the amount of hell i've put these engines through they seem to hold up pretty well, never underestimate the CA.

  • is that your 120 y?

  • Yes it is.

  • @MrHellyeah2010 Oh yeah sorry, I think in the states you call Silvias 200SXs? or is it the other way around? Damn i can't remember - well either way, you get the idea lol.

  • @turfguy87 that one's a Datsun B210 120Y (were they sold in the US?). I found a forum from 2006 where he was on and at that time he had CA18DET from an S15 Silvia in it.

Oh yeah, not that you asked, but i'm in love with the orange car at 0:00 - 0:16: it's a Valiant VF or VG Pacer. that one in particular is TNT265, Oz's most powerful (I think) naturally aspirated six. the best I've seen it do is an 11.8 down the 1/4 mile. My dream car - that eats V8s :D

I recommend you search tnt265 dude!

  • @MrHellyeah2010 thx- what is the sedan at 1:10? is it based off the toyota corolla. or is it a mazda with a rotary?

  • @turfguy87 hey buddy. those are Holden VZ (2002-2006) Commodore utes (short for utility). based upon sedans (what you guys call saloons). very seldom do you see something like a ram, Silverado or F250 down here (which is sad), but we have these instead (which are awesome :D). Holden utes have been around since 1948, Ford Falcon utes since 1960, and Valiant used to make them in the 60s-80s before it was killed by ecohippies. Utes have a huge following with country folk, much like your pickups :)

  • what are the pickup truck / el camino types called?

  • oh hell yeah we need this in America......

but then again tracks here are too paranoid about insurance & injuries to let something like this happen

  • once again sweet vid,,iv got 320hp and some when im mean haha in a bravo but that datto is on a whole different level hahaha nearly same power but i think he might wipe the floor with me hahaha iv got a sr20 in mine but
