Great idea, but I think the meaning of "I do happy" could confuse a child. Even though it is not correct grammar (happy being an adjective, not a verb) we understand the intention as adults because we get the play on words but a young child, whose language skills are still in development (a child is also learning these while they read), will probably not be able to do so (they may perhaps learn the intention but only with adopting an incorrect understanding of grammar).

Perhaps using instead, something like: "If I feel happy, I will do happy things" would be better. It would keep the English teachers happy anyway :-D
