I just love this. The power of God never cease to amaze me....my daughter is 5 yrs old & I pray everyday that He fills her with the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues @ an early age that she may edify herself....HALLELUJAH!!!

Many within COGIC churches as well as Assemblies of God manifest the Spirit in this same way. Its too bad we can't have more fellowship together!

@PrincEarly Wauw, thank you for sharing the blessing you live out. You're right about not making experiences that are ment for ourselfs too much of a public thing. But sometimes it does bless me and incourage me too seek God even more. So many Christians don't live a life being lead by the Holy Ghost, though it is a KEY thing. I want to grow more in being focussed on others wellfare. I still think I am very egocentric too often. But that is rubbish too. He set me free. I will serve Him. Bless.

@LastHaze8 I do know that when I feel the spirit....things are peaceful and I see with clearness all things before me and there is no confusion or a want to use that time to be a pleasure seeker but to seek after the welfare fo my brothers and sisters. We have a lot in common you know. I speak from my experiences and in no way wish to argue what this girl is experiencing cos I am not the one to say....I can only share my personal testimony that I know the truth is available to all who seek it

@LastHaze8 I can go on...but I have felt his spirit poured out unto me in many different ways and they all have been in a reverent manner....when my heart is full and I feel his spirit so strong I wish to keep it sacred and for me personally it is not a matter of public display but a personal experience.....I want to be certain I am not attempting to be seen of men or I dont cross that line that would invite the mach spirit to take hold and be deceived....

@LastHaze8 I feel the out pouring of the spirit in my life when I do whats right and live the commandments and most of the time the spirit comes to fulfill a purpose....whether it be to teach or to give instruction through personal revelation as to matters of what my family may be in need of or dangers that may be ahead...or to simply edify my soul that I may better understand the true nature of God and feel his love and reassurance that he knows me individually and I am his child.

@LastHaze8 I too was baptized by a Priesthood holder with the authority from our heavenly father and received the blessings of being able to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost with me at all times given that I live in a way that allows his spirit to strive with me.

Yes I have received the spirit like as described in the bible. When I was baptized at the age of 8 in the same fashion as Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist who held the Priesthood keys and authority necessary to perform such ordinances.
