@DancingLlamasRule Well, that's Disney for you. Ruining childhoods for the sake of...Historical accuracy. Though, I thought what was worse than Pocahontas ending up with Rolfe was that John Smith became suddenly unsupportive and uncaring about Pocahontas' people just so that Disney could make John Rolfe seem like an upgrade. Smith took rejection well though. Took it like a man.

The reason Disney made Pocahontas end up with John Rolfe is because the *real* Pocahontas married him. I admit it makes Pocahontas 2 pretty lame, but that was the idea behind John Rolfe's character.
