another process video -- some stuff in this one that didn't get captured in the footage from the other vid of the same day. specifically the behind the back wheel plane transfers and the snes/under leg combo. big props to rich (isopop), brecken, baxter and poki for some insights and techniques.
there is something really powerful about the only audio to a hooping video being the breath of the dancer. some truly beautiful practice :)

Such a delight to come across this video (again...) now, after having had a couple of classes with you. I love the light touch, the way you almost seem to be hinting at making the hoop move, rather than "making it move"!

I love the switching behind the back in the middle, and your headstall was a lovely surprise!

Finally getting to sit down and watch these! Loving the richness, variation & texture of all your off-body transitions--all those finer details just keep blossoming--especially wowed by the btb isolation drop-in at 2:43--so sweet! Also really noticing that what I love most about your hooping is the stillness of your center--especially when you are working off-body it makes the most compelling contrast--the quick, light hoop surrounding your still, quiet core. Just beautiful.
