I am Barack Obama

I am writing to ask your support for Senator Barack Obama for President. I am not an eloquent person but I am speaking from my heart. For the first time in my life, I have felt compelled to become involved in a Presidential campaign. I am supporting Senator Barack Obama because of his stance on the Iraq war. He exhibited the good judgment not to vote for this senseless war. I believe he will bring our troops home in a timely and safe manner. As a mother of a son that served in Iraq, I would hope no other family would have to endure the fear you face every day wondering if your child will come home to their family. Unfortunately, when they do come home they are never the same after they have lived and fought there.


I believe if the Democrats are to take back the White House, Senator Obama will have to be the nominee. He is a "uniter" not a divider. I would greatly appreciate your vote for Barack Obama at the Democratic convention. Let's take the White House back in 2008.
