We though these Nintendo games (Entendo as my father used to say) was the most mind dazzling, overwhelmingly awesome graphics and gameplay that mankind could fathom!!
And then next year Sega Genisis came out, and they asked for more money, and I thought... hmmmm.
I was stuck with all these 8-bit games.
After they kept pulling the rug under me, I thought, well - ya'll can have the games. I'm done.
A whole lot didn't. Those the ones waiting in line "for their sons."
GOD bless 'em!

I always thought the robotic-looking enemy from the forest level was Robocop without the helmet.

I watched your Bad Dudes vids back when I uploaded mine, but didn't have a chance to comment then, guess I was distracted.
We play very differently on this game, yet both very effectively on kicking its ass. Awesome job as always. Impressive for me because of the amount that you use the spin kick, which for me is kind of hard to pull off.

Yeah, you might have a point there, but who really knows for sure, right?
It's fun to think up the possibilities, as it keeps things interestin. Besides, just about anything is possible! :)

I think you're overthinking the choice of food. Maybe the president likes burgers better than pizza.

well it aint bad cus put it this way, i use all the major consoles, & i play on old skool emulators more than anythin. earlyr on i turned off mario galaxy, refused 2 put on uncharted, & put bad dudes vs dragonninja on, classics win!

Yeah I always wondered myself why the President didn't ask for a slice of pizza instead, seeing as how popular pizza was during the late eighties, largely because of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series craze.
Maybe Mirage Studios told them that it would be a "bad" idea if pizza was shown at the end of Bad Dudes and that it would cause some confusion. Data East was more than likely making a political statement about America being a fast food nation.
Heh, back in the day, this game was the jam. It's a little dated compared to later beatemups, but still a classic imo. I suppose, similarly, in ten years some people will probably think most of the current flood of first person shooters is bad. :P

I see what you mean, Vikashar. I guess it's up to entertainment buffs such as us to value the classics even if no one else does :P. But at least many classics are indeed being rereleased on Xbox Live Arcade, Wii Virtual Console, Gametap and so forth. Good times!
