Not sun ... Son Worship, the one who created everything including the Sun and including even the existence of an East and West! Praise Him who has removed our sins as far as the East is from the West.

Actually the song doesn't talk about believing in ourselves. But about Trusting that God has indeed removed our sins as far as the East is from the West. We have Strength, we have Hope because of what Jesus has done for us on the Cross, not because of anything we have done! Hallelujah!

I know it's hard to believe he does look after us, and set our sins aside, but I know he does. I have a friend who was healed of a spine fracture after a car accident. She had to begin drugs to stop the pain. We had our pastor pray for her. She was instantly healed and hadn't even started taking her medicine. She was really healed, and to this day, is a believer in Christ. (We returned the medicine to the doctor, and he was baffled at her recovery, and called it..."A fluke of nature")

He has not lied, he just has a plan for you. Even though you may not see it yet, the idea is to keep your faith that he is doing it for you, even though we don't deserve such mercy. He died for you, just so you could live forever with him in paradise. No one deserves that kind of mercy, and he gave it to us. Not as something we must earn, but something we just have to believe and put our faith in.

your statement reminds me of a old story about a man who was stuck in a lake over a period of days 3 fishermen came by and each time he turned them away saying god will save him, he died and when he was in heaven he asked god why he let him die, and god said I had sent 3 fishermen to you. just because it isn't a flashy light in the sky doesn't mean god didnt answer our prayers. its mans arrogance that prevents us from seeing
